Cops and Robbers #2 published by Azlan creations in association with the Christian Police association.

Various stories - fully illustrated by Al Gray.

Cops and Robbers is a collection of biographical stories - testimonies if you like, from former criminals and drug addicts who have become Christians.

The 2006 edition - issue #2 contains among others the story of ex-Hells Angel, Brian Greenaway. There are others too - some which appeared in issue #1 and some which are new.

I wont spoil the fun by telling you what exactly is in this comic - but for anyone looking to use these comics as a directly evangelistic tool - they should work very well.

Azlan creations used comics because of the ability to tell a story using strong pictorial elements - allowing those with a poor grasp of English to understand the stories.

As such this should probably be considered an evangelistic tool rather than
a comic book in the purest sense - it is magazine format and contains some
text based editorial as well as illustrated stories.

In this format it works well, and is a powerful and effective witness particularly in instances where the reader is involved in self destructive behaviour of some sort.

Its powerful message of hope is a great counter to the problems of crime and
drug abuse which appear to trap too many of us.

Guidance: This comic is not intended for children, and its references to violence and drug abuse will make it unacceptable for parents of young children. Best used in outreach situations.
