Shadowmancer #2 published by Markosia
Original story by GP Taylor, adapted by Tony Lee, Pencils by Pedro Delgado,
Colours by Eva De La Cruz, Letters by Richard Emms.
If anything the artwork in issue two seems to improve on issue one - a short precis brings the reader up to date with the story, and we're plunged into a world of cartoon candle light and mystical mayhem.
We're into the spiritual stuff now - great for discussion groups and so on, and still a stonking read for comic fans. The pared down dialogue really does improve the story.
If you haven't read issue one - and can't get it - then pick up issue two, and you can go straight into the story no problem.
In this issue we get to see some monsters too - great.
A great comic yet again - a superb read for all ages. It will make you desperate to see the rest of the series!
Guidance: - the story is suitable for all ages, although parents may wish to supervise younger readers. The comic carries preview artwork for other comics which although not offensive, some parents may wish to view before handing the comic over to their young children.
